Frequently asked questions
Where do you work?
We're based in San Leandro and serve the whole Bay Area. A lot of support can also happen remotely.
Who do you work with?
Small businesses, schools, and home offices, especially teams without their own IT department.
Do you do one-time projects or ongoing support?
Both. Bring us a single project, like a Microsoft 365 migration or a Wi-Fi upgrade, or have us look after things month to month with monitoring and patching. Not sure which you need? Ask us.
How much does it cost?
It depends on the job. Tell us what you need and we’ll send a quote through the client portal before any work starts.
We use Google Workspace, not Microsoft 365. Can you help?
Yes. We work with both, including Google Workspace for Education and Chromebooks for schools.
Can you help remotely?
Yes. Many issues can be fixed in a remote support session. Cabling, Wi-Fi, cameras, and new hardware usually need an on-site visit.
Can you take over from our current IT person or provider?
Yes. We'll take stock of what you have, write down how it all fits together, and pick up from there.
Will we be locked in?
No. Everything we set up is documented and handed back to you, including accounts and admin access, so you're never dependent on us to get into your own systems.
How do I pay an invoice?
Through the client portal, where you can also see quotes and past invoices.
How do I get started?
Send a message through the contact page or email [email protected]. A short description of what’s going on is plenty to start.
